About the Awards

Young Business Mind Awards is aimed at empowering the next generation of creators and innovators in the Hunter Region.

Guest speaker Jack Anthill from Oasis Media.

About the awards

The Hunter Young Business Awards (HYMBA) is about encouraging schools and tertiary students in the Hunter region to think like entrepreneurs, to express their creativity and develop the self confidence to present their ideas.

Our aim is to help them develop the skill sets required to prosper in the rapidly changing contemporary business and employment environment. Rather than focusing on the logic of business, HYMBA is about unlocking ideas and helping the next generation find their voice and share their creations.

Open to students and schools across the Hunter Valley including: Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Upper and Lower Hunter, and Port Stephens.

This program is a true collaboration between students, teachers, schools, TAFE, University and business.
